Fast service. Great atmosphere. Fresh delicious food that was served by an awesome wait staff. Will return when in the area.

My friends and I stopped into SGC to eat some food and catch some games on TV. We went on a Friday night so there was a bit of a wait for a table but it was worth it. We got some appetizers, the bell peppers and the spinach dip were excellent to start with. For my main course I got the Parmesan meatball hoagie and it was fantastic. Great size and flavor and came with ample fries. Overall a great place to hang out and watch sports with friends and family

Not only is the food amazing but the staff is so awesome. We had an awful day saying goodbye to a dying parent and went there for dinner with our dog. It is extremely dog friendly and the staff made us feel welcomed. Very attentive to not only our needs but our dog. Give him turkey, ice water and a pup cup. The live entertainment was a relaxing plus. Highly recommend this great place!

We went because we had our dog with us and needed a dog friendly place. They were amazing. We sat on the patio, they brought our dog water with our drinks. Food was so good-we are use to pub food because they usually have patios. Food was so much better! And the young guy who was singing and playing guitar was so good! Dancing in my seat while I ate!

We frequent this place often. Food is usually served hot which means made to order. Service has usually been top notch. Plenty of TVs to watch games on and the bar area does get a bit loud. But the dining area is family friendly. In warmer months they have live music on weekends. Very much a local place with some frozen apps defrosted and fried for happy hour appetizers. Cool little tidbit - happy hour starts at 4:12 (area code for Pitt)!

We eat here frequently and really enjoy it! We had a couple year pause when we didn't come here - no particular reason - and upon our return the food menu was updated! Some good choices including sandwiches and burgers. During our last visit I couldn't choose between two beers. Our server, Rose, said she could have the two beers mixed and they call it Red October! Yummy!

Being a sports nut, this is by far my favorite place in the area to eat. They don't have a huge food selection, but it's great "bar" food. Their pizza and wings are AMAZING. The service can be slow at times due to the huge crowds they get, but typically the service is great. The reason I love it here is mainly the sports on every TV and they always have one game's volume up on and the place is pumping! The customers get into it! It's like being at the game! If you're into sports and want to watch a game with a pumped up crowd and great bar food, this is the place to go!

Met friends here for lunch on NYE, I'd recommend not getting a table in the bar area during football/hockey games if you want to communicate with others in your party, it can be incredibly noisy. Our food was pretty good. Heads up from our party, they offer a 'double cheeseburger' this is double cheese not double patty too.

Came in this evening for a quick bite with my wife around 7:30pm on a Friday. The restaurant was hopping but we still managed to snag a table with no wait. The initial service and drinks were pretty quick and our loaded fries were out after only 5-10 minutes. We didn't bank on the fries being quite as large as they were and so we actually ended up skipping the main entree and going strait to dessert after putting 1/2 the fries in a to-go box! The skillet cookie was nice and fresh and had some vanilla ice cream and hot fudge which were nice additions. Generally happy with the meal choices but getting the check at the end and drink refills in between proved to be a little harder than expected. Would probably come back to catch a game and try a true entree item!
